The Director of Product Strategic Services will have an overall strategic and operational responsibility over providing tuning & optimization services of our advanced products, in order to maximize the value customers extract out of the solution. In this role you will be responsible for evolving the existing local team to a global distributed group and develop the supporting processes. The organization will be spread between Verint’s Israeli site and few other locations.

This new global group of system engineers will master the different solutions, including our ML\AI engines for speech and text analytics, in terms of their value to customers and the way they operated and tuned, while using an excellent customer facing skills and performing in a pragmatic and efficient way.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities

  • Define & create the infrastructure to support both Ad-hoc and continuous tuning solutions, running in our AI data lab and integrated to our cloud production environments
  • Recruit talents and build a strong team of professional engineers in globally distributed locations
  • Define and oversee the operational model of the group including the interfaces to pre-sales, post-sales, support, services and direct customer engagement
  • Interface with different Eng. & research teams across the globe to learn the solutions
  • Define and track KPIs for success and ongoing improvements
  • Deliver presentations to customers, and internal stakeholders
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and orientation for continuous improvement
  • Travel as needed

Main Focus will be on tuning Speech Analytics Solutions includes:

  • Creating new LM (Language Models)
  • Improve existing LM with Acoustic LAC (Language and Accent Customization)
  • Improve customer-specific LM with Linguistic LAC
  • Conduct Phonetic Boosting for customers
  • Build and prepare Speech and text analytics POCs

Requirements:

  • Proven customer-facing experience including solutions explanation, understand the customer problems & needs and translate those to plans in the tuning domain
  • Experience with ASR language model tuning and performance
  • Experience with speech and text ontology creation and tuning
  • Working with 3rd party vendors for manual annotation and highly accurate human transcription
  • Proven experience of at least 10 years in leading globally distributed teams of 20 people or above
  • Experience with AWS, especially around transcription services
  • Track record of leading similar pre or post sales organization with system level engineers
  • Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills. Lead, coach & retain leaders and Eng. in a global, cross-office environment
  • Ability to manage budget.
  • High prioritization capabilities
  • Positive attitude, mission-driven, action-oriented and self-directed
  • Pragmatic, strategic thinking, understand business needs and how to translate those to effective operational organization
  • Advanced Engineering degree, MBA preferred
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written both Hebrew and English
